Mentors

Volunteer FBI mentors visit selected schools to spend time with at-risk students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals during the 10-to-16 week Junior Special Agent Program.

Mentors provide support, enriching interactions, and positive feedback and appreciation for the students’ improved performance or behavior—all while providing students with an inside look at today’s FBI. All of our mentors stress getting a good education, living healthy and drug-free, and abstaining from violent and/or criminal behavior. The mentors respect the students and their families and preserve the confidentiality of all information learned about them.

To find out more about becoming an FBI mentor, contact Carolyn Brew at carolyn.brew@ic.fbi.gov or (202) 278-2406.
