The WFO’s Community Outreach Programs enable community leaders, business executives, and young people to learn about the FBI’s mission and foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement through frank discussion, education, and hands-on-training. By creating partnerships, we are able to build a network of supporters and help prevent crime, violence, drug use, and gangs through programs, speeches, and events. Examples of successful, long term relationships include those with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the National Family Partnership. We also work the National Guard Bureau with the Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Marine Corps in a nationwide, science education program for at-risk youth.
